He embraces his self-governed and digital nomad life as a creative professional, and wrote the book Designer Aloha to help novice designers learn how to manage and improve their relationships with clients.
Chris specializes in helping small businesses and organizations get established online with the right tools they need to sell their product and services to customers. Since 2005 he has been using his design skills to illustrate his client’s visions into easy-to-understand visuals to increase returns on their marketing actions.
Chris specializes in Squarespace websites and has built Chessman Wealth, The Gordian Knot, Research Hive, John Grover Band, Switch Recruiting, The Articulate Fly, Restore Money and Diagonal Media’s websites.
Chris is skilled in developing various graphic mediums such as UI/UX wireframes, infographics, presentations, advertisements, animations, and logo design. Examples of his work can be seen on his Behance Portfolio.
Chris is an advocate for animal rights, environmental preservation and mental health. He has helped organizations such as the American Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity, and the World Green Building Council – along with grassroot communities developing websites, branded identities, marketing graphics and design schematics.
Previously he assisted in a dog rescue foundation in Colorado and while living in Hawaii, Chris and his wife volunteered on Saturday mornings at the Leilani Farm Sanctuary – a refuge for rescued animals. He also designed Maui Vegan Life - an online hub for plant-based events, recipes and dining in Maui.
Chris is also an avid scuba diver.
